Crowds Jam Pack the Old Port Of Montreal as Mexico win 1st FIFRA Event
Over 5000 people were on site at the outdoor stadium for the 1st of an annual Mundial of Soccer Rapido in the beautiful Old Port Of Montreal on Canada Day.
The crowd was enthusiastic, and had a great time as they witnessed some of the best rapido (arena) soccer action ever. Under a beautiful sky on a fabulous day, Mexico, Canada, and the U.S.A put on a remarkable and memorable show on this historic event while planting the seed for the future of this tournament.
Mexico is the first team to capture the Mundial Title, while Darko Kolic of Canada is named 2008 tournament MVP.
Brazil is confirmed for 2009 event. Don�t miss it !
